We’ve seen some interesting things when wandering the Disney World parks, and sometimes we really have to do a double-take.
This week, we’ve seen more than our fair share of a certain souvenir that we didn’t expect in Disney World, and it has us wondering, have we totally been missing out on this souvenir trend??
We were at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, and after taking dedicated interest in a certain skull cane yesterday, we were shocked to find even more in another section of the park! Over in Africa, there are all sorts of hand-carved souvenirs available, and one of those happens to be walking sticks.
There were several animals represented at the stand, including lions, a gorilla, and a giraffe. But, what really caught our eye was…
…you again? This skull is definitely different than the glammed-up one we spotted yesterday, but this may be slightly creepier? Buuut, it’s also pretty cool! We’re kinda undecided about it, if you couldn’t tell.
It has perfectly carved teeth, and even though its eyes are hollow, it still feels like it’s staring into our souls. Plus, it has friends! We saw multiple styles of this same type of skull cane.
Regardless of your impression, we have to admire the craftsmanship here! Each cane is hand carved and had a lot of detail in it. Of course, they are fairly pricey for a park souvenir — we saw prices ranging from $75.99 up to $125.99! If you’re in need of a walking buddy to get around the parks, this certainly a cool option, otherwise — it might just be best to admire them from afar. I like it, but I don’t need it… too bad

I was wondering during what the name of the vendor is and if he has an online store
