Disney characters sometimes get to live in some pretty neat houses.

Yep, we’re looking at you Cinderella. But they’re not the only ones who get to move into some special new digs in their stories. One Disney executive recently moved into a multi-million dollar new home and we’re checking out the house.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney CEO Bob Chapek recently purchased a $12.5 million contemporary estate in Westlake Village, California. The home is nearly 10,000 square feet and sits on six acres of property.

Chapek has been living in the same gated community since 2019 with neighbors such as professional athletes, actors, and internet celebrities. The community is located about an hour northwest of Downtown L.A. by car and features 24/7 guard services.

This purchase is the area’s biggest real estate deal since 2019 when the owner of NuVet bought a $35 million property.

Let’s take a little tour of Chapek’s new digs.

The entrance of the home is situated between two water features with a large double door.

The front door enters into a living space with quarter walls and a feature light fixture.

Look to the other side of the room, and you’ll see the living space opens up to the outdoor patio with views of the surrounding mountains.

Another living space is rooted in more wood tones.

A windowed alcove features a booth and a large breakfast table.

Speaking of breakfast, the kitchen is spacious with a massive island.

And there’s a formal dining room nearby that can seat 16 at the table.

A full bar looks out on the property…

Down the hall, there is a beautiful office with more wood features.

The master bedroom has plenty of windows, a lighting feature, and a fireplace.

The master bath might be the most stunning part of this home.

The Chapeks’ won’t have to want for closet space.

The back patio features a pool with fountain features and a firepit.

In fact, fountain features are sort of a theme out here.

Plus there is plenty of patio seating and an outdoor bar.

One seating area features another TV and fireplace outside.

The pool, and the rest of the home, have uninterrupted views of the mountains and hills.

A breezeway connects the house to a guest house.

The guest house has plenty of space to accommodate visitors.

And they get some nice views as well.

How beautiful and lovely for this Disney executive. If Disney executives are doing this well, why make so many cuts that create hardships for Disney employees and consumers. It’s been a terrible year for “regular” people and making taking away Magical Express and free wristbands seems rather greedy in the face of such opulence. It’s a sad reality that the people who make the decisions for the most magical place on Earth could care less about the “little” people who save for years to make it possible to visit Disney and find such joy in visiting the Disney parks.
Well. That’s special. Maybe he’ll ask all the laid-off cast members over for an open house.
That’s absolutely gorgeous! Well earned
I agree with jules. hes the worst thing to happen to the company, the parks, etc. i wish him and the whole board would get ousted, all he cares about is disneyplus….its time to get someone who cares about the parks and makes them Disney again, not target.
$12.5 million, no wonder why they canceled and screwed over the loyal dedicated annual pass members for Disneyland Resorts. We now know who is to blame, thanks a lot Bob. I’m sure all the laid off employee’s are glad to see what your priority’s are.
Now I understand the reason for the price hikes throughout Disney
The CEO this is Disney the rich get richer the employees get paid poorly . If you are not part of the upper 10% you are not making enough money to be able to have a dream . Disney CEO are they really working hard ! They should all get there hands dirty .
Great and we can’t even have the Magical Express!
Haters gonna hate
Wow, I know he has a lot of responsibility, but a lot of people are just hoping that they can afford to go to Disney World and get to have some magic in their lives.
I’m very surprised that Bobbie’s home doesn’t resemble the interior of a proctologist’s office. And I shouldn’t have to explain why that would be appropriate for him.
This honestly kind of makes me sick.
