Earlier today, Space Mountain was evacuated and temporarily closed.
And now another part of Disney World seems to be experiencing some difficulties — but this time the issues are with the Disney World Monorail.
As we were heading out of Magic Kingdom today, we found that both Monorail lines — the Resort Monorail line and the Express Monorail line — were unavailable. We were exiting the park around 4:15PM ET.
At the time, guests were instead using other forms of transportation to get to and from Magic Kingdom. There was actually quite the LONG line of guests waiting to board the Ferryboat to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
We’re not sure what has caused the monorails to be temporarily unavailable or when they will become available again, but we’ll keep an eye out for more details and let you know what we find.
