Harmonious, EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime show, has been making huge progress lately!
Harmonious Barges
We knew we were getting closer to seeing the show when the first and second barges came out onto World Showcase Lagoon, but now the six-story tall centerpiece barge is on full display. And tonight we noticed something pretty awesome about the barges out on the water!
Tonight as we were heading out of EPCOT, we noticed that the barges lit up! When we first looked, the center barge and the barge on the right each had lights.

After just a few seconds, the lights on the side barge went out. However, the centerpiece kept its lights on for a while.

Even though we are still waiting on two more barges to take their place on the lagoon, we can’t help but get excited for Harmonious’ premiere! There is still no official date for when the show will begin, but we’ll let you know as soon as it is released.

Harmonious is said to be one of the biggest nighttime shows Disney has ever worked on. Not only will the barges be a huge part of the show with various special effects, but during the day they will act as giant water fountains.

Kenuestion of, I’m not sure if that’s a trick of light or a drone/trick kite. We did see trick kites in EPCOT Forever, so we’ll have to watch for such additions to Harmonious.
