Disney World resort guests get a good number of perks!

One of those perks USED to be complimentary MagicBands, but at the start of the year, Disney discontinued free MagicBands. Resort guests can still get discounted MagicBands. and Disney just released more $5 MagicBand options for resort guests online!
Thanks to reader @schreiberjoe on Instagram, we’re taking a look at the new MagicBand options! They’re all solid colors with grey borders. Check out the Olive Green MagicBand!

To select these bands, like the Mint Green MagicBand, you’ll need to connect your hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account on the Disney website.

It’s certainly nice that there are so many options for so cheap. It’s not as great as when they were free, but we still like being able to pick out the Raspberry MagicBand…

Where can I order the discount magic bands???
KathyJo, when you place an order in My Disney Experience for an upcoming trip, these are some of the options.
I have a trip in July and when I go to the Disney app and merchandise it shows 14.99 for magic bands and not 5.00 for the certain bands.

Just so you know, this isn’t working. Yes. My resort is linked. No, I am not seeing it at the discounted prices NOR seeing the colors. Not sure what’s going On.

Going in November also and the bands at my resort on My Disney Experience App say $14.99
Use your PC (desktop version) of MDE to login. There you will be able to shop for your magic band and the discounted prices will be reflected.
When will they be sent if we pre-order?
Kelli, my understanding is that they’ll be sent on a timeframe similar to how they’re usually sent before a trip.
Are Swan/Dolphin Resorts part of this discount?
How can I replace my olive green Disney magic band I lost?
Sam, I’m not sure if there’s a way to do that unless they’re for sale on ShopDisney (or as a pre-arrival if you have a trip planned in My Disney Experience). You could try reaching out to Disney about it.
Tried desktop and app $5 bands are not working for me either. All the solids are showing $10.

There is very limited supply on magic band and only a couple of solid color ones. Very disappointed for our up coming trip. Mostly resort bands are available.
I feel so dumb! I can’t find ANY solid colour magic bands – I feel like I’ve tried every possible option (but must be doing something wrong?)
Are Disney good neighbor hotel guest eligible to order magic bands?
Hi Sandra! You won’t be able to order the MagicBands through the app as part of your reservation with the discount, but you can order MagicBands on shopDisney and have them shipped to you before your arrival.
