We’re back to round up this week’s average wait times in Disney World!

EPCOT
Now that the holidays are over, the holiday crowds have started to dwindle down, so we’re checking out the average wait times in ALL FOUR PARKS! Times have continued to drop, so let’s see how many attractions were UNDER 30 minutes this week!
Over 30 Minutes
Magic Kingdom
Shockingly, this week in Disney World, there were only 12 attractions that had wait times higher than 30 minutes. After seeing the wait times during a holiday week, this seems crazy!

Cinderella Castle
The attraction with the highest wait time this week was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with 58 minutes.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
A few more popular rides in Magic Kingdom were over the 30 minute mark as well. This included Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 41 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 35 minutes, and Space Mountain at 34 minutes.

The NEW sign!
Despite an entire day of being temporarily closed, Space Mountain still managed to have a high enough average wait time to make this group of attractions!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The next highest wait times were over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Tower of Terror
The spooky Tower of Terror was at a 55 minute average and Slinky Dog Dash was at a 50 minutes average.

Millennium Falcon
Other wait times over a half an hour in this park include Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway with a 38 minute average wait, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with a 44 minute average wait, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with a 37 minute average wait.
EPCOT
The only attraction in EPCOT with a longer wait was Test Track with an average of 50 minutes.

Test Track
Every other attraction, including Frozen Ever After who used to hold the top spot for highest wait time, is under half an hour!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
It’s no surprise that the only two attractions from Disney’s Animal Kingdom with higher wait times come from Pandora.

Pandora
This week, average wait times for the Avatar-themed attractions were 45 minutes for Na’vi River Journey and 38 minutes for Flight of Passage.

Na’vi River Journey
Considering that Flight of Passage used to have waits that were several hours long, this week’s average times are very low. But not as low as the majority of attractions in Disney World, so let’s take a look at ALL 46 rides/shows that had averages UNDER 30 minutes this week!
Under 30 Minutes
Magic Kingdom
The majority of Magic Kingdom attractions had pretty low wait times compared to usual. Rides with average wait times between 20 and 30 minutes include Astro Orbiter, “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Splash Mountain with 29 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel with 26 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Peter Pan’s Flight with 25 minutes, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic with 20 minutes.

Carousel
In the teens for average wait times, we saw The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (18), Haunted Mansion (15), The Barnstormer (14), Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid (14), Magic Carpets of Aladdin (12), and Tomorrowland Speedway (12).

Tomorrowland Speedway
With single digits in the Magic Kingdom there’s Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Mad Tea Party at 8 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 7 minutes, and Country Bear Jamboree at 6 minutes.

Dumbo
A few walk-through and show attractions had a 0-minute wait including Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Swiss Family Treehouse, and The Hall of Presidents.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Although this park does not have many attractions, Hollywood Studios had the most rides with times over 30 minutes. However, we did see quite a few low wait times, especially for the usual wait times in this theme park!

Toy Story Mania
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue had a 27-minute average, and Toy Story Mania and Muppet Vision 3D had a 24-minute average.

Muppet Vision 3D
Not far behind is 20 minutes for Alien Swirling Saucers and 18 minutes for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy
Walt Disney Presents usually sits in the 0-minute wait section each week, but this week it had an average wait of 9 minutes. As a reminder, Rise of the Resistance does not currently have an active wait time since it is still using a boarding pass system.
EPCOT
The majority of EPCOT attractions were under 30 minutes this week! This is likely due to the start of the Festival of the Arts where the focus for guests usually shifts to the booths and activities in World Showcase.

2021 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
Following Test Track, the next highest average waits are 28 minutes at Mission: Space, 26 minutes at Soarin’, and 24 minutes at Frozen Ever After.

Frozen Ever After
There is a pretty big gap between these attractions and the next group wait times. Next is Spaceship Earth with 11 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment with 9 minutes, The Seas with Nemo & Friends with 8 minutes, and Living with the Land and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros with 7 minutes.

Imagination Pavilion
Several attractions also had a 0-minute average wait time like the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Awesome Planet, Impressions de France, Reflections of China, and The American Adventure.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Similarly to EPCOT, most attractions in Disney’s Animal Kingdom had fairly low averages. Thrill rides like Dinosaur and Expedition Everest had wait times of 22 minutes and 16 minutes, respectively.

Expedition Everest
Kilimanjaro Safaris also had a 16-minute average, and It’s Tough to be a Bug had a 11-minute average. Rounding out the park, TriceraTop Spin had a 5-minute wait.

Kilimanjaro Safaris
It’s really surprising how low wait times have gotten since the holidays, and that 45 attractions had wait times under 30 minutes! We’ll be checking out the average wait times every week, so stay tuned to DFB to get an idea of what wait times will look like for you next trip.
