The entire concept around Disney World’s Galactic Starcruiser is a very ambitious one that will literally place guests into the middle of the Star Wars universe.
The immersive experience is set to whisk guests away on a 2-night spaceship cruise through the galaxy that will send them on the adventure of a lifetime! And seeing all the construction progress has given us some ideas of how Disney is going to make that magic happen!
Thanks to @bioreconstruct, we now have a good idea of how Disney plans on preventing guests from seeing the buildings around the structure. Aerial photos show berms (aka a raised barrier or land) that were recently added that will host a forest that will effectively hide those buildings from guests.

Disney is no stranger to creating immersive environments, and this is just one of many tricks the company has up its sleeve in making everything as realistic as possible.
In fact, we might say that this Disney World spot will be — quite literally — out of this world! We’ll be sure to keep you updated as construction continues.

We are HUGE Star Wars fans, and as such, we (hubby and I) hope that the hotel launch is delayed until this Covid mess is over, and we no longer have to wear masks or stay distanced. It would completely detract from the immersion experience if we can’t interact with others in the lounge, or experience character meets, and have to keep our faces covered.
We are quite ready to drop a few thousand on the experience, but only when it is the FULL experience. We can wait.
