But we knew we’d find our way back here today because it’s the gelateria’s 5-year anniversary!
We were hoping there would be something special to celebrate the occasion with, and we lucked out! Strawberry Shortcake Bombolato?!? Consider us WILDLY intrigued!

For $9.50, you get a warm Italian doughnut stuffed with the same cake batter gelato as the Birthday Cake Shake (which you can read our review of here!) topped with fresh strawberries and drizzle of strawberry sauce!

Maybe we’ve been cooped up a little too long, but have you guys ever seen a PRETTIER dessert?!? This thing is like an Italian supermodel to our dessert-loving eyes!

But good-looks aside, the Strawberry Shortcake Bombolato was like a delicious opera of flavors and hit all the right notes! We could’ve used a little more gelato but the doughnut was super fresh while the strawberries added the perfect amount of freshness!
