Okay, we know there’s been a lot of information whizzing by us lately as Disney World’s theme parks are gearing up to reopen, and we’ve been doing our best to keep a good grip on the latest news as we answer all of your questions!
But we were REALLY surprised when one of our readers reached out to us with THIS intriguing bit of information!
It seems when our reader, Paje, logged in to check on her 4-Park Magic Tickets (which allows guests to visit four parks in four days) she noticed they’d been magically updated! Previously, these tickets had an expiration date of September 30th, 2020. But as you can see — her tickets now say they’re valid through September 26th, 2021!
While we can’t confirm if this is the case for everybody or not (so far, Disney hasn’t spoken out on it), you may want to check your tickets and see if they’ve been assigned a new expiration date! Let us know what you discover!
Note: Many of our readers have shared that their 2 and 3-day park hopper tickets have been extended to the same date as well.

Did your 4-Park Magic Tickets get extended? Let us know in the comments below!
I can confirm the same thing. Our tickets are extended through Sept 2021 for our 4-park tickets.
Ours were extended too. Thanks for the heads up on this!!
Our 4-park Magic tickets and our traditional base tickets, both now have expiration of 9/26/21.
Our tickets still show August 8, 2020 (expire) for our August 1 trip.
Did they put a hold on the memory maker? I purchased it with my package and they removed the Dining Plan bit not the memory maker. Thank you
Kim, I haven’t heard anything. I’ll check with the team and report back if we have an update.
Are they still going to have the memory maker?
Our tickets were extended To September 26 2021 as well! I am so happy and relieved about this.
Ours were extended also.
My 2-Day tickets were extended to September 2021 as well. They were supposed to end Sep. 26 of this year but were extended two days ago when I last looked.
My parents have 2 day tickets and theirs have been extended to Sept 26/2021. My mom used one day of hers, my dad has not used his. They have both days on their tickets. My daughter and I had 4-day tickets and we used 2 of our days before the parks closed. There isn’t a date beside ours, and it says they are non-transferable, as does my mom’s ticket. My dad, since he didn’t use his is still transferable. I am confused as to why there isn’t a date beside my daughter’s ticket or mine.
Same, our 4 Park Magic tickets were extended again (originally they were for this week!) from Dec 15 2020 to Sept 26 2021. Happened to each of our family’s tickets separately, over the course of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Curious if this is only being done for 4 Park Magic tickets, and if so, why?
YES!!!! My April 13-18 tickets — which I want to use for my October 3, 2020 trip are now good until Sept. 2021. Unfortunately, I cannot go to Orlando in 2021 so it doesn’t matter. We’re on a plan to Orlando on October 3rd and have already started planning our April 2021 trip to our home resort in Maui.
Our tickets originally valid through Sep 4th 2020 are now valid through Sep 26th 2021 too!!
Our 7 day hopper plus water park option have also been extended until September 26, 2021
We had our Nov 30th – Dec 11th (8 day) tix extended until 9-26-21.
I just checked and ours have also been extended through sept 2021! We have 6 regular 1 day tickets.
My 7 day ticket , also now has an extended date for expiration … Sept. 2021 . I noticed the date change last night .
Confirmed, I have a 6 day park hopper ticket now extended, I planed this trip almost a year in advance but now I don’t know what to do.
I hope everyone is safe?
My 3 days tickets also valid thru septenber 2021
Hey yes I received an email saying they were extended until sept 2021 or I was able to get a full refund as I was originally booked to come in March 2020. I just emailed the ticket centre and they helped with everything
A word of caution, my AP always says it expires in 2030. For YEARS. Don’t get too excited yet. It could be because of a reset of the system. But good luck if that’s how it works out!
We had a partially used 14 day ticket (as we were on vacation when the park closed ?) and this has now also been extend out to 2021.
UK Ultimate 14 Day 2020 tickets have been extended to September 30th 2021 as well, although it’s unclear how that’s going to work with the reservation system as the UK ticket is basically a 14 day park hopper.. to come and go across the whole of Disney world as you please. It would loose significant value of it was limited to reserved parks, or one park per day.
My 6-day hopper has been extended to September 26,2021
Thanks for sharing, Shaun. I let the team know about the UK Ultimate tickets. Unfortunately we still haven’t heard anything about Park Hoppers.
Our 4-day tickets were extended to September 2021, as well!
Nancy, I’d keep checking over a couple of days. It may be that they system is taking time to get through all the changes they’re having to make. If you don’t see a change in a day or two (or however long your patience lasts!), give Disney a call to inquire.
Thanks to everyone who’s shared their experience with ticket extensions. I’m sharing this info with the team so we can refine all the updates!
Kim, we have not heard anything about Memory Maker, but I did mention it to the team so we can keep an eye out. We’ll update when/if we learn anything.
Our 4 day magic tickets were also extended to September 26, 2021! We’re very excited about this since we are sadly canceling our August trip.
My November 2020 6 day tickets were also extended to Sept 26, 2021. We usually travel in November, but may consider changing our vacation to April 2021 instead. We too have a memory maker, so hopefully you guys can clarify that for us!
Our Military Promotional 5 day park hopper tickets have not been extended. ? still reflecting a 12/2020 expiration date. Hopefully some answers on this soon.
My friends have the 4 day magic and we noticed yesterday that its till September 26, 2021
My military 5 day tickets have not been extended. Since I doubt we can go this year, I hope they will extend them also!
Not for me. I have a 4 day magic ticket loaded for my daughter, purchased for start date 9/13/2020, and it still shows a valid through 9/19/2020
I have had the same experience as Paje. Although my tickets are 7-day park-hoppers that were previously extended to December 15th, 2020. According to the My Disney Experience app, they are now good through September 26th! That’s awesome because my party wasn’t going to WDW this year (April 2021 is our new target)I would have had to either pay extra to extend them into 2021 or cancel. Maybe there is a silver lining after all…
Thanks for the post… just confirmed our 4 Park Magic tickets we bought for this May now say valid through 9/26/21 as well.
When will they update pass holders? I still have the original expiration date.
Our 5 day Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper has not been extended. Still says 9/19/2020.
Ted, you might give them a day or two and call (or you might call now, if you’d like to clear it up). It seems like some changes are taking time to cycle through to every guest.
Ginger, that’s a good question. To my knowledge that hasn’t happened yet, but let me pose it to the team.
Excellent, Kiki! Glad we could help.
Chrisq, hopefully that’ll come through soon, but if it doesn’t, reach out to Disney directly.
I have one day, one-park tickets for July 27 and the expiration date is now Sept 2021.
My parents’ 3 day florida tickets are still September 2020, but let’s hope they are changing those too!
Mine too!!! So relieved!!
My tickets also expire that date! If I had not seen this in the news letter I would have not known. I was already discouraged checking the my Disney experience app. Thank you for the info!
Do you think they will also extend the FL Resident Discovery tickets too? Ours still say they will expire 9/30/20 but we won’t be able to go til 2021. Wasn’t sure if you had heard anything about those too!
Caroline, we did not. Worth a call to see what they say, I think.
