Whether you’re at the original in Disneyland or over on the East Coast in Disney World, the Haunted Mansion is often a must do for first-timers and frequent visitors alike.
The Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom
In the words of the Ghost Host, our “cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding”, because something hasn’t been quite right with our ghoulish friends in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
Since yesterday evening, the happy haunts have NOT materialized! The My Disney Experience App has shown the attraction as “Temporarily Closed” for over 24 hours. [PLEASE NOTE: A STATUS UPDATE IS AVAILABLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST.]

We spoke with a Cast Member who said he was not sure when the mansion would be open and accepting death certificates again. Please, Grim Grinning Ghosts, come out to socialize! We’ll keep you posted as we learn more and we hope guests can hurryyyy baaaaaaack to ride Haunted Mansion soon!
UPDATE: As of March 6th, Haunted Mansion is still closed. While we have no updates at this time, we thought it would be important to mention that we are not seeing FastPasses available again until Sunday. While the answer could simply be that they have all been snatched up, we think it’s a little strange. FastPasses for Haunted Mansion tend to pop up throughout the day, so we’re thinking that this may be due to a delayed reopening.
