We wish everyone could stay long enough to discover them all, but that’s why you’ve got us! We wanted to tell you a little about one of these sweet gems we found recently (on accident!)!
Disney’s Old Key West Resort might be a little off the beaten path, but it’s well worth a visit if your passing by — especially if you’re feeling a little thirsty for some nostalgia! On the menu at Old Key West’s bar, Gurgling Suitcase, you’ll notice there’s a drink called Olivia’s Strawberry Lemonade — one of the resort’s signature cocktails!

We’ve seen the drink here from time to time, but never knew the full story behind it — until today! Made from Patrón silver tequila, key lime juice, and strawberry lemonade, then garnished with a sugared rim, the drink looks as pretty as a picture on a postcard — and tastes equally delicious!
Greetings from Disney’s Old Key West Resort!
We ordered the drink today and our bartender told us the cocktail was created during a special contest for Old Key West’s 25th anniversary a few years back. Cast Members made various mixed drinks and the winner’s drink landed a spot on the menu! That winner just so happened to be the Olivia’s Strawberry Lemonade, but it went by a different name back then — it used to be called the Silver Anniversary! It was so popular, in fact, they decided to keep it on the menu, and thus the Olivia’s Strawberry Lemonade became a part of Old Key West Resort’s legacy!

You wanna know who taught us all of this history? His name is Roberto and he’s actually the man who created it! We were so thrilled to get to hear this tale right from Olivia’s Strawberry Lemonade’s inventor himself!
