There’s been an outpouring of concern from some of our DFB readers over the past month centered around Le Cellier Steakhouse, a favorite signature dining spot located in Epcot’s Canada pavilion.
You see, guests have been experiencing some weirdness with Disney World’s website while trying to make their Le Cellier reservations for the summer! And we’ve been getting tons of emails and direct messages for WEEKS asking WHY!
Usually these glitches work themselves out in time, but this one was going on TOO LONG for us to ignore. So to put your troubled minds at ease, we’ve decided to do a little digging and figure out just what exactly’s going on with Le Cellier!
We totally get how a meal at Le Cellier is a must-do for your family’s Disney World vacation and we’d be sweatin’ too if we thought gettin’ our Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup fix was in jeopardy!
Some of our readers raised the alarm when they saw Le Cellier’s calendar grayed out after August 9th. This didn’t raise any red flags for us since Disney World generally only posts their availability 180 days in advance. Guests who are staying at any Disney World resort may book their entire vacation’s dining reservations (up to 10 days) counting 180 days out from the first day of their trip.
But we understood our readers’ nervousness when we tried clicking on the dates that were live, only to find there weren’t any reservations available. We clicked on dates from June to August and toggled between lunch and dinner seatings with NO luck.
From past experience, we knew it seemed a bit unusual for Le Cellier to have absolutely zero tables available this far in advance. But sure enough, just like our readers, we encountered the same “no tables available” message time and time again! We screenshotted this message from Le Cellier’s website around 11AM this morning.
After weeks of experiencing no tables available, and curious to get to the bottom of this, we reached out to Disney World directly this morning to see if they could comment on the issue. Then we called Disney World’s dining reservations number and spoke with a Cast Member this afternoon.
Suddenly, times began showing up on Le Cellier’s website! While as recently as this morning you were out of luck if you wanted to make your Le Cellier dining reservations, we’re happy to report as of around 1PM today, many summer dates are currently wide open for lunch and dinner!
We’re not sure if the Cast Member we spoke to was our Poutine Fairy Godmother or if we just experienced an amazing coincidence, but if you’ve been anxious about making your Le Cellier ADRs, now’s the time! Get on the Disney World website and bibbidi-bobbidi-BOOK ‘EM!
Also, we’ve since heard back from a Disney World spokesperson who has noted that the system was being updated and that the reservations should be available going forward. Note that sometimes this DOES happen — reservations that should be available…just aren’t. Usually they’ll come back online sooner or later. You just have to keep trying. This weeks-long issue with Le Cellier was one of the longer stretches of this we’ve experienced, but we’re glad to see that one of our favorite restaurants is back in bookable form. If there’s a restaurant you can’t book at 180 days (and it’s not one of Disney’s uber popular, books-up-immediately spots), let us know!

The Power of DFB!! We have been trying for weeks for late July/August For Le Cellier. We love it! Multiple calls with cast members having no idea what was going on….at no fault of their own. Waited this morning for 75 minutes to get a “no idea” update. Just booked August. Thank you so much from faithful DFB fans!!
this happened with ohana recently as well. Nothing was available in may for a good month until one day tables were available
Awesome thanks for looking into this
I had issues making a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table 180 days out for the week of 06/11-06/18. My aunt was finally able to find one reservation, but those of us booking the other reservations never saw CRT come up in any of our other searches.
We were able to book Le Cellier that week, so it’s weird we had other issues booking a different restaurant, but not that one that others were having issues with?
Thanks! I’ve been trying for over a week and I was finally able to make my reservation yesterday!!! When I called WDW the CM I spoke with told me it was sold out through August….Glad you guys cleared it up.
Hi I’ve finnaly managed to not only book Le Cellier for 3 of us for dinner but also Cinderellas Royal Tabel also for dinner both in August this morning from all the way over here in the uk. Been trying for a week. When I spoke to cast member last week she couldn’t book either for me and didn’t know why. Just so pleased I’ve got the reservations at last!
This is happening with the House Of Blues. You can not make a reservation past March 31st.
I had also reached out to the WDW Guest Services on Twitter shortly before it was fixed. Did the same thing earlier when there were no Sci-Fi lunch reservations for 2 months.
For the record, California Grill is now acting the same….
