Disney+ announcements came fast and furious at Friday’s D23 Expo in Anaheim
, and most of them were about new, original programming coming to the streaming service when it goes live on November and in the days and months after. With all these exciting new titles, we got to thinking: we’re going to be spending a lot of time binge watching Disney+ offerings.
Here are three Disney+ original titles we’ll be binge watching this year!
Forky Asks a Question
Forky, that lovable toy comprised of trash who simply couldn’t get out of his own way in Toy Story 4? He’ll be coming to Disney+ in a series of Pixar shorts where he poses pretty complex questions… for a spork and, really, for humans, too. What is love? What is time? And, according to Pete Docter of Pixar, what is cheese? (We’ve got some thoughts on that last one if it’s a legit question!)
Forky Asks a Question will be a ten-part series, and since they’re shorts, we figure we can knock this binge out in a day and be a lot more knowledgeable for it. (Or not; Forky is expected to pose these questions to his fellow toys, so the answers are likely to be pretty playful!)
One Day at Disney
We’re already polishing our Minnie ears for One Day at Disney which will launch on Disney+ on December 3. This docu-series will also be made into a coffee table book by Disney Publishing, and both products will showcase the stories of Disney employees around the world. The trailer for the series is lovely and full of sneak peeks at cast members and employees at work — making magic and, as the trailer says, “touching hearts.”
will be comprised of a feature-length documentary and 52 short-form episodes, and we’ll be busy for a few days in early-December *cough cough*.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
Finally, if you’ve ever heard Jeff Goldblum in an interview… or seen him on the big screen… or really know anything about his quirky personality, you’re going to want to binge watch The World According to Jeff Goldblum. In the official trailer, Goldblum himself says the show may stray “off the beaten track”, but Mr. Goldblum, we are here for it. Who needs a beaten track anyway?
In the series, Goldblum will delve into the worlds of such exotic things as shoes, tattoos, and denim. Yup, we’re going to be binge watching this and probably leaving with more questions than answers.

Are you going to be binge watching any of Disney+ original content? Let us know (so we can add it to our list…)!
I hear you can’t binge watch because shows are being released a week per episode.
I’m very underwhelmed really..I’m most interested in the older movies..It’s going to have to b better than this for me to give up netflix or prime..
Athena, in addition to new content, Disney+ is expected to stream most or all of Disney’s older movies, too (including Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars)
.
a Disney series centered around Jeff Goldblum? Despite doing a pretty good job in recent Marvel movies, he doesn’t seem to be a particular Disney standout worthy of headlining a “binge-able” program on Disney+. Or is the Disney+ lineup really that thin?
Omg I’m stoked for Disney plus just waiting for it to come to Canada I can get on board with all things disney
