We love our fruity desserts at Disney World, like the iconic Dole Whip and Citrus Swirl.
And now there’s a NEW citrus treat in town! The Orange Cream Cupcake has arrived at the BoardWalk Bakery.
The yellow cake is filled with orange mousse and topped with orange cream buttercream icing, orange candy crisps, and a white chocolate an orange disc.
The yellow cake is fluffy and light, which fits beautifully with the tangy taste of the orange mousse inside. The icing is creamy, and the orange flavor is summery and refreshing. The candy crisps and disc add a nice, small crunch to complete the soft cupcake.
Head on over to BoardWalk Bakery to try this seasonal cupcake for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

Whoa! I need to put my glasses on, at first glance I thought the orange crispy things were a load of baked beans! O_O
Baked beans around the edge!
I’m sure it’s good but when I first saw it I thought it was going to be Pumpkin Spice so… more than a little disappointed…
Andrea, that would be so unpleasant. 😉
Sarah – I agree but it’s what it looks like to me. And even though I know they’re not baked beans, the fact that’s what they look like puts me off having one.
That looks delicious. Doesn’t look like bake beans
Andrea, I hear you! Just the idea of baked beans on a cupcake was making me cringe. 😉
