The required, no-cost reservations to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in its opening weeks in Disneyland (from May 31 – June 23) are completely booked for the general public. So, if you’re hoping to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but you don’t have a reservation during the window, you’ll have to wait until reservations are no longer needed starting June 24th. (You can find out how the virtual queue will work for gaining access to the land starting that day here.)
But let’s say you don’t want to miss out entirely on the opening day fun, and perhaps you’d like a memento to say “I Was There” in Disneyland on opening day of Galaxy’s Edge…. well, as it turns out, Disney has announced that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day dated merchandise, including Annual Passholder items will be available — only while supplies last — outside of Galaxy’s Edge! Disney recommends visiting the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, or Pooh Corner.
An assortment of limited edition, limited release, and Annual Passport pins as well as other items will also be available outside of the land. Head to the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland to find it!
More items celebrating the new land will be available at the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, and Pooh Corner in Disneyland park; Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure park; World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; and shops at the Disneyland Hotel. Disney notes: “Be sure to grab these items as they cannot be found on the planet Batuu.”
Additional Annual Passholder items will be located at the Emporium, the upper level of Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Trader, and Pooh Corner in Disneyland park; Elias & Co. and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park; World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; and shops at the Disneyland Hotel.
Disney shares that “line ups for merchandise start no earlier than 2 a.m. on May 31; parking opens at midnight. All merchandise is subject to availability, while supplies last,” along with this video below:
I predict the first Star Wars launch day merchandise will appear on ebay within 10 minutes of Star Wars land opening.
why are they putting star wars stuff in pooh corner?? Disney is not even making sense anymore, cram things in for a buck wherever they can.
