Though the holiday crowds will soon wind down, we were able to check out a new — and possibly temporary — oasis today at Upcountry Landing in Animal Kingdom’s Asia.

Those offerings can be seen in detail on the menu, which features Maduro Brown Ale and Tiger Beer Asian Lager among the beers, and “Jolly Lemonade” (Monin Lychee and Raspberry with lemonade and Parrot Bay Rum) as the aforementioned adult beverage.

A makeshift lounge with simple tables and chairs has been set up on the Landing.

A few high top tables (without chairs) also dot the surrounding landscape.

So the Stroller Parking, which took residency here for a short time, is now by the recently added stage in the area.

In speaking with a Cast Member, it’s likely that this is a temporary spot, though they weren’t able to say for certain. But it’s a really enjoyable and quiet area offering lovely views, so we hope it sticks around as an option, or at least comes back during future busy seasons!

And since this Upcountry Landing Bar does have nice proximity to the new stage, there may be even more reason to add this as more than a temporary option. We shall see!

Cindy, good eye: Upcountry Landing Bar is in the area where Baloo and King Louie typically meet. No word on the character meet ending, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for a new location or their return to this location.
