Travelling with a food allergy or sensitivity can be difficult. Disney has worked to reduce the stress by making chefs visits to your table easier as well as incorporating allergy and sensitivity requests in the Advance Dining Reservation system and providing allergen information on menus at many Disney restaurants.
And for a while now, Disney has been moving toward incorporating food allergy and sensitivity orders into the Mobile Order System in the My Disney Experience App.
After you scroll down past the standard menu, the allergy and sensitivity options appear.
Allergies and sensitivities that can be accommodated are: Gluten/Wheat, Egg, Fish/Shellfish, Milk, Peanut/Tree Nut, and Soy.
We captured screenshots of the options for Pinocchio Village Haus, and we noticed this option was available for all the restaurants in our app except a few. We found we could access allergy friendly menus in every location listed in the My Disney Experience app at the time we checked except Fairfax Faire, Woody’s Lunch Box, and D-Luxe Burger. Here’s hoping those are being updated right now.
You can still order at the location and speak to a chef if you need clarification, or can not accommodate your allergy through the mobile order system.
There is some small print with this system, so be sure to read that and wait to order in person when you can speak to chef if needed.
We are excited to see this update in the My Disney Experience App. Will this make your travels to Disney easier if you have a food allergy or sensitivity?

This. Is. Awesome! Last November we travelled to WDW with our great niece who has tree nut, peanut, and egg allergies. WDW is phenomenal in support of food allergies. Having this available from mobile ordering, and in fact just being able to see the allergy menus in advance, really helps.
So great for us!! Thank you!
Thank you so much, I’m headed there next week! This will cut down on standing in lines! ?
Brilliant, I’m a Coeliac (gluten free) and Disney were fantastic when I was their this year with family, I really enjoyed the brisket toastie at Woody’s lunch box (haven’t had a toastie since diagnosis) amongst other foods and fries – I can have disney’s fries ….. To be able to mobile order means I won’t have to wait an extra 20 mins – don’t get me wrong – I would gladly wait to get some safe good food but this is great news. Thank you Disney.
Hi, I have a tree nut and corn allergy. it seems like corn syrup, corn starch dextrose, malto dextrin and artificial sweetners are in almost every thing. it’s very hard to find things I can eat without making it myself. is it possible to eat in Disneyland or world? Thanks for your time.
Karla: sadly, you’re right. But Disney will make efforts to accommodate — particularly at table service locations, where they will send out a chef and work one-on-one with you to find something that works for you. You will definitely want to request to see the allergens/ingredients at kiosks and quick service places (they are required to have a binder with this information). While corn may not be noted as an allergen, you will be able to see all of the ingredients and make a call based on that. Also, although it might not always be helpful or timely, you might try an internet search for your allergies and the Disney parks. Lots of folks out there travel to the World and the Land with allergies, so you are definitely not alone! Good luck!
Karla, if there’s a place you can eat it’s probably Disney. There’s a Facebook group, Disney Chefs Rock Food Allergies, you might want to join and post your questions. The information and support there is outstanding. We went last year with someone with PN/TN/egg allergies, and another with sensitivity to garlic, and the chefs – even at the counter service restaurants – were outstanding.
