For this price they shoukd be refillable at the parks too!
Poorme3 — I wonder if they’ll ever make that happen.
if your a coffee drinker these are a must have.
Can you answer this? I’m planning a 15-day stay in 3 different resorts. Can I get the mug for the 15 days? And is it good for my entire stay even if I switch resorts? They are 15 consecutive days.
Amy A — Yes, it should be good for up to 14 days across all resorts.
When people check-in, most times everyone is thirsty, so they all buy a drink.
Add these prices up and you will see how much you pay.
Now you go for dinner and buy drinks, add these to you earlier purchase. WOW!!!
I now have more then paid for the refillable mug.
Now I have free drinks the rest of my stay.
This is a no brainer now is it!?!
We have stayed for 21 nights and had the refill mug for the entire stay across 2 resorts-should be no problem for 15 days.they can add the extra days at your resort if you ask.
We used the refillable mugs the last time we were there. They were great. Wish they would have a refill spot in the parks, especially in the hot summer. Is the mug only good during the stay for which it was purchased or can it be used on additional purchases?
Purchased them on my last trip to Disney. We loved them. Wish we could refill them in the parks as well, especially in the hot summer. Even if you had only one in each area. If you purchase them for a visit, can you use it for the next visit as well?
Mary — No, unfortunately their use is tied to your hotel reservation.
Does anyone know the current colors of the mug lids? Thank you!
Megan – They are pink, purple, red, and blue.
Jeff — THanks!!
For this price, they should be gold plated. A ridiculous price for a plastic mug. Disney at times is getting out of control.
Under $20 still…you can’t beat doing the mug…between coffee/pop/regular (and iced) tea…. any stay over 1 or 2 days should be worth the money!!!!
I have seen some people EASILY get their monies worth in a day or 2 just in pop alone!
We have been to Disney many, many times, and each time bought a mug. Can they be reused for another trip. We are on mug overload.
J., we feel your pain. But as far as we know, they can not be reused.
AJ, do you have to stay at a resort to qualify. I will stay at Shade in June. I will be hanging out at the Poly, Floridian, and Ft. Wilderness.
Hi, Bill. You do need to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort to use a refillable mug at the resort. The mugs have an RFID code that makes them usable only in the resort for the length of stay.
It is sad that Disney Not only, every year raise their prices on Tickets, Food ,Hotels , refillable Mugs and now Parking! What is next FAST PASSES. I love Disney But the average Family can not afford Disney. Disney is heading towards only being for the Rich. Which is sad I have family and cousins That would love to expierence Disney. But they can not afford these prices. LET THE GREED CONTINUE
Are the mugs still available without a handle?
Emily, we are only seeing mugs with handles these days, but that’s subject to change at any time!
We are doing a split stay in September. 1 night at Beach Club then 3 nights at Copper Creek. If we get a 1 day dining plan on the 1st leg, would the mug only be good for 1 day, 2 days or would it be good for the normal 14 days? Thank you!
Jason, your refillable mug should be good for length of stay! Keep the receipt just in case there are any issues when you change resorts.
Was just reading something on this on Disney site. Guest are saying the mugs are good at all resorts, and the water parks for 14 days. No matter what resort you bought them in. So the price $18.99 is a good deal if your there for 2 days or morel If you are in a villa with full kitchen and sode drinkers, and having food delivered, just have them get a few 2 liter bottles, much cheaper then .
Can you fill your mug with water in the parks? I’m not a soda, tea or coffee(during the day) drinker so I will want water. I def don’t want to carry around 6+ bottles of water everyday.
Sarah, you can absolutely fill your mug with water at the parks. Here are some ideas: Of course you can always fill it at a water fountain, but I know many people don’t care for that Florida water taste. Plus it’s rarely cold. For ice cold water, you can request a cup of water (for free!) at any counter service or kiosk location where they serve fountain drinks. (Not sure they’ll fill your mug directly, but you can pour the water into your mug.) At table service, you could always pour your glass of water into the mug as well and then carry that out with you. Have fun!
I know it seems like a lot, but if u buy a couple of cups of coffee in the morning , and then some soda or lemonade or ice tea during the day u will have spent more than the price of the mugs. But I do wish you could refill inside the parks as well cause that is where u spend most of your day .
