We’ve all been eagerly gathering any and all details about Toy Story Land opening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer. We know that we will all shrink to the size of one of Andy’s toys, take on THE CLAW with the Alien Swirling Saucers attraction, and coast along on the Slinky Dog Dash family coaster.
But one thing we’ve heard very little about are the food options coming to this new land…. but that has all changed today, with Disney’s announcement that Woody’s Lunch Box will be serving up Quick Service eats to all of us “toys” visiting Toy Story Land!
That’s right! Andy himself has taken his very own lunch box and thermos to make a walk-up window serving full meals and old-fashioned soda floats. Checking out the details in the rendering, you can spy Andy’s Tinkertoys, books, blocks, and more (I’m not 100% sure, but do I spy Cooties?!) making up the rest of the structure behind the lunch box. And I LOVE seeing those vintage-style Christmas lightbulbs strewn throughout the surrounding area! Don’t you?
Disney is partnering with Mini Babybel® for Woody’s Lunch Box, and, in fact, it has also been announced that Mini Babybel has been named the Official Snack Cheese of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line.
We’ll be excited to share exactly what we’ll all be eating straight out of the Lunch Box as soon as we hear more!
What do you think of this new dining addition coming to Toy Story Land? Please let us know with a comment!
Oh darn, I was already to read the menu. This place is going to be adorable!!!!! Yes, AJ, I noticed the cooties; we had them as kids. lol Toystoryland is going to be a blast of fun for all ages. I can’t wait to see it, and I can’t wait to see what new things are added in the future!
This is so exciting! I hope they find a way to somehow theme the food offerings to Toy Story.
Looks like fun, but what kind of food will they have? Will it go with the lunchbox theme? PB&J sandwiches, cookies and cupcakes, bananas and apples? Grilled cheese would be nice even if not something you can carry in a lunch box.
BabyBel? I’m in!
No Pizza Planet ?!!
Still hoping it is not edible play doh and silly putty. I fed many of my toys this.
Baby bel is great for kids young and old but I am not to sure in hot weather. I hope that Disney remembers dairy and gluten free people. Looking forward to seeing Toy Story land complete.
