Earlier this month, Magic Kingdom moved its park opening show to Cinderella Castle…which means MK guests get to wander around Main Street before the park officially opens!
Along with this change, breakfast options have been increased on Main Street, including new menu items at Casey’s Corner, theMain Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and more! We’ll have full reviews of all of these items later this week, but here’s an overview for now!
If you’re hankering for a hot dog to get your day started (because…who doesn’t eat hot dogs for breakfast?!?), be sure to stop by Casey’s Corner where the breakfast menu includes the all-new 45th Anniversary Celebration Dog, which is topped with hash browns, shredded cheddar, fried onion straws, bacon, and a chipotle ranch drizzle. We’ll be back with a full review soon!
Other options at Casey’s include Corn Dog Nuggets (which they’ve added to the breakfast menu), and more standard fare like bagels, muffins, and croissant donuts.
Remember that Donut Sundae we shared from the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor? Well, that’s on the breakfast menu now! That’s right — ice cream for breakfast!
The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is also serving up a Mickey Waffles Platter topped with strawberries.
Other options at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor include assorted doughnuts, muffins, fruit, and milk and cereal – which you can get served in a Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae container for $13.69 (most expensive cereal ever). You can also buy milk and cereal without the souvenir “Mickey Pants” bowl for a mere $3.69.
We love the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments and we’re excited that they’re bringing back the egg, ham, and tomato sandwich later this month. If you’re looking for a sweet breakfast, the fresh fruit and Nutella sandwich is still available too!
Most of the new breakfast items are currently available at the Magic Kingdom.
Pin it for later!
Which of the new breakfast choices are on your list? Let us know in the comments.
Yay for more quick breakfast options! I also really like that nail polish color 🙂
I always wanted to try the nutella fruit waffle, but I’m surprised they still have them. You can’t buy nutella where I live anymore, because it supposedly has carcinogens in it.?!.?!
Do I see cheese in that egg, ham, and tomato waffle sandwich? Yum!
Regarding Nutella, it does not contain carcinogens. For more details, see the article on the fact-checking website snopes.com – http://www.snopes.com/nutella-cancer-risk/
Oooo, so excited to hear this. I waited in way too long a line last time I had to buy breakfast on Main Street (longer than most of the ride lines we waited in). More choices will definitely make a difference.
I am SO SO HAPPY that Magic Kingdom will finally have MICKEY WAFFLES!
***At a quick service location, that is!!!
I still say Mickey waffles should be served all day long. Who doesn’t want a Mickey waffle sundae at night? Or walk around with a Mickey waffle on a stick?
“…milk and cereal – which you can get served in a Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae container for $13.69 (most expensive cereal ever).”
Not quite! Be Our Guest charges $14.00, and doesn’t offer it in a souvenir bowl.
Do the Mickey Waffles count as a quick service breakfast?
Sam — We were told that they would. Double check when you visit, though.
Will We have access to Sleep Hallow before the park opens?
Here today. Breakfast from Caseys has been removed from sign and they are closed. Same with the ice cream parlor.
Do they still have the kitchen sink now?
Adrienne, the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor does still have the Mickey Pants Sundae (not quite as large as the Kitchen Sink over at Beaches & Cream but still sizable!).
