While we’ve been focusing on all the excitement that Fall brings for Disney Food Fans, we have another fun event to update you about — the 2015 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic!
The two-night event, back by popular demand for the sixth year in a row, will once again take place over Halloween Weekend in 2015. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31!
The Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic is made up of two components: Seminars and the Causeway. Seminars center around learning more about food and beverage in a fun, interactive way. For more details on this year’s Food and Wine Classic Seminars, be sure to check out our Food and Wine Classic Seminar Page.
But guests stay and play for the evening on the Causeway!
If you’re new to the Food and Wine Classic, the Causeway is a collection of food and beverage booths set up in the walkway that links the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. Every single restaurant from both the Swan and Dolphin — all nine! — participate, and bring tapas-sized eats to the party. Chef Robert Ciborowski, the executive chef of the Swan and Dolphin Resort, also prepares some dishes in Cib’s Smoke Shop.
In addition, there are tents representing beer and wine from all over the world, offering tasting portions.
In 2014, the Food and Wine Classic also introduced the Beer Garden, offering even more beer options, plus specially prepared dishes to pair with the pours.
There’s also live music playing during the evening.
Today, we’re excited to share with you what you can expect from the menus for this year’s Causeway!

Hello,
This is going to be our first year attending this event. We have read the great reviews from previous years and we can’t wait to taste all the offerings.
I wasn’t sure if the offerings for Friday and Saturday were going to be different, and your post just clarify that. Thank you!
Lili — Thanks! I’m so glad you found the information to be helpful. Hope you have a GREAT time!
Can you just get the ticket book for $50.00 ?
Not sure what the causeway tickets include. Are they where you can sample everything and get the cocktails.
And the ticket books just cover a few items.
Joni — You can get the ticket book for $50. It contains 25 tickets, and food and drink items range from 2 to 6 tickets per item. The Causeway ticket provides you with a wristband, which allows you unlimited access to all of the tasting booths — both food and drink. You can only purchase the ticket book at the event; the unlimited Causeway ticket can be purchased in advance or at the time of the event. Also, there haven’t been cocktails at the event for the last couple of years. The booths only offer beer, wine, and sake.
Brooke,
After counting the number of food offerings per day (causeway only) I come up with 11 items + 3 desserts for Friday, and 10 items + 3 desserts for Saturday. Is that correct? Will they add more choices or is this the final menu for the event?
Thanks 🙂
Lili — I’m counting 11 food items for Friday, plus four desserts (don’t forget about the Sundae Station), and 10 items plus for desserts for Saturday. These exclude the Beer Garden offerings. Also keep in mind that there will be many, many tents offering beer, wine, and sake. Last year, there was also a Cabot Cheese trailer offering a couple of different dishes, and that was a surprise. While we don’t usually see late announced additions, you never know. You are unlimited with your number of servings with the Causeway ticket as well.
Brooke,
Thank you for your reply… And yes I forgot to count the Sundae Station 🙂
We have never attended the event before, and the reviews were great last year. But it seems to me that the selection of offerings was a little better last year, but again we were not there last year. The price difference does play a role while considering if it is better to get the tickets or pay for the promenade event (no Beer Garden for us). And it has increased in price and not in amount of offerings. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Now we are definitely going, but I just can’t justify going both Friday and Saturday… because of the offerings.
I wish they had them all at the same time, for both days. But one can only dream, right?
Lili — That would be awesome for sure! My favorites have been the options from Cib’s Smoke Shop (they’re always amazing!) and, believe it or not, those Fish n Chips! Here’s hoping the weather is nice and cool again this year, too. 😀
We went last year and are going again this year. I will miss Cib’s pork offerings but I am sure it will all be good. Lili, all in our party were amazed with the fish and chips last year! It was freezing cold outside and the food was hot and crispy and beyond tasty. Hope it as good this year. I loved how fast the lines moved last year as compared to Epcot. Most people have a wrist band so no money or tickets and you grab your food and go.
Kate — The Fish and Chips are incredible!!
