Finally! We have official confirmation that Be Our Guest Restaurant reservations in Walt Disney World’s New Fantasyland can be booked starting Monday, August 20th, at 7AM ET! Note that this is a change from the previously announced 12 Noon reservations opening time, according to the Disney Parks Blog. On this date, reservations will be by telephone only — call 407-WDW-DINE (3463). A credit card number will be required to book the reservation, though it will not be charged at time of booking.

Online reservations will begin on Wednesday, August 22, via www.disneyworld.com/dine. Want to be one of the first to dine at Be Our Guest? The first available dinner reservations will be taken for November 19 — over two weeks before the official Grand Opening date!

Be Our Guest Restaurant
Starting November 19, 2012, enjoy an enchanted meal surrounded by the lush decor of the Beast’s Castle in the Beauty and the Beast area of the New Fantasyland.
Guests will be able to dine counter-service (fast food) for lunch and table-service (sit-down) for dinner, experiencing one of three magical dining rooms: the West Wing, which houses the “enchanted rose”; the Rose Gallery, featuring larger-than-life figures of Belle and Beast; and the sparkling Ballroom with gorgeous chandeliers and even snow falling outside the massive windows.

Does anyone know if dinner reservations will have to be prepaid like Cinderellas Royal Table?
Kb – I don’t think they will be, but you may need to put a credit card down for the reservation. Info is not official on that yet.
Do you know if there will be a ‘soft’ opening for walk-ins/no reservations maybe by the end of October (we will be there on the 27th)?
DJ — Most likely the soft openings will be happening in mid-late November, but you just never can tell! Keep an eye on Be Our Guest when you’re there!
Hooray!! We’ll be there the week of Nov. 24-Dec. 1st!
Hoping to snag an ADR on the 20th via phone, but I’ll bet that is going to prove to be difficult. I wonder if waiting till the 22nd and trying online would be any easier?
Can’t WAIT to try this beautiful restaurant!
Assuming it will be one credit for the Dining Plans? And as excited as I am…can I say ugh for having to call in on Monday – I can hear the busy signal beeping already lol 🙂
AHHH! We’re normally down at Disney during that time, but changed it this year! Shoot! I guess we’ll just have to wait until next year…
Anyone know when Quci Service ends and Table Service begins?
Setting a reminder for Monday right now…hoping for this to be my celebratory dinner after the Princess Half Marathon on Feb. 24!!!
We’ve got the reminder set and are hoping to snag a Christmas Eve ADR for dinner…
You know your totally Disney obsessed when you have your Christmas Eve dinner planned downed to knowing what your going to order in August. (The Salmon) 🙂
Time is just moving so slow… why isn’t it Christmas yet???? / whine. I swear I’m worse than the 2 year old with my excitement to see the new Fanstasyland and this castle!
I’m new to “soft-openings” at Disney. I will be at MK on 11/16 — if they are having a “soft opening” that day, will I just go to the restaurant to see if they are open? Do I need to talk to a CM on Main Street to learn the secret handshake to get in? I’d love to take my family there for lunch if it’s possible. (As much as I’d prefer to go to dinner, I don’t think my kids would okay giving up Chef Mickey to eat French food, even if it’s Disneyfied.) I’d appreciate any advice you can give.
I will be calling to book the dining for one of the 10 nts I’m there at Disney or hoping to eat when I go to the Mickey’s Merry Xmas Parade (have my tickets already) My husband and I will be there to celebrate both of our retirements. He retired from UPS (25 yrs) and I retired from my school district after 33 yrs plus. Also he’ll be 60 (doesn’t look it at all) so this is going to be a wonderful celebration for us both. Have a wonderful wknd ahead. Sincerely Deb T:)xo
To clairify, reservations can be made starting Monday the 20th at 12:00pm eastern time?
Beth — I think your best bet is to do the phone reservation if possible. I think it will get booked up for that week very quickly.
Jen B — Yep! 1 credit counter service for lunch, 1 credit table service for dinner. 🙂
Dana — Nooooooooo!
JoAnne — I haven’t heard yet when lunch will switch over into dinner, or if there will be a closure between the two.
Summer — Sounds like a great idea!
Sheilla — Ha ha!! Fingers crossed that time speeds up for you!
SUe — Ha ha! “Soft openings” are indeed very mysterious, and pretty much mean that the restaurant could be closed or open at any given time. Your best bet is to go to guest services when you arrive at the Magic Kingdom (it’s just inside the park to the left) and ask if Be Our Guest will be serving lunch at all that day, and if so, when. THey should have a good idea of whether or not it’s possible. Then, no matter what answer you get, try to make your way back to BoG at lunchtime and just see if the doors are open.
Debbie — Wonderful, Deb!! Best of luck!
Amanda — Yes — eastern time!
For my 13yoDD, this is top of the list for our DL/WDW all-in-one holiday. I’m desperately hoping to get dinner reservations here for her 14th birthday so will be getting up at an ungodly hour Tuesday morning to make the call from here in the land of Oz (the one with kangaroos, not a yellow brick road). Excuse my ignorance of American timezones, and where the disney dining central reservations office is, but I just wanted to double check – is that 12:00 EST, or 12:00 EDT because of daylight savings in Orlando? Thanks so much for helping out from a very grateful Mum.
P.S. Great Blog AJ, and an even better PodCast. It’s easily my favourite of all those I’ve discovered planning for our holiday.
@Maxine – It’s EDT or GMT-4.
I see that they offer a gluten free raspberry cream puff on their lunch menu. Yum….
🙂
Disney are not making my dreams come true :(…… I’m holidaying at Disney in october and I’m absolutely gutted that I will be missing out on dinning at BOGR – it’s my mums 50th this October and we ( my sister & I ) were praying to Our fairy godmother that the restuarant would be open in time for us to get a reservation and celebrate there!! Mum is the biggest beast fan !! Lol ……. A meet and greet with beast will just have to do 😉
Note that as of early this afternoon it appears that Disney has change the time that reservations open to 7AM instead of noon.
Will Be Our Guest be open for MVMCP? The night I want to go, MK closes at 7pm and we wanted to do dinner later..
Awesome! I will be waking up early on Monday to get a reservation for December!
I don’t mean to rain on the parade BUT with all this social media, I hope this doesn’t turn about to be the mess that we had on Monday trying to get reservations for the Wine and Food Festival. Can you tell I still am not happy – I only wanted one thing and didn’t get it.
This may sound stupid, but does anyone know if reservations are required for lunch at BOGR?
Shelley — Nope! It’s counter-service for lunch, so no reservations needed. 🙂
Do we know if the ADR’s are only 180 days +10 right now? We’re hoping to book on Feb 22, but that’s not 180 days just yet!
I just booked the very first seating for Be Our Guest on the 19th!!! It takes a credit card to guarantee, but doesn’t charge you ahead of time like Cinderella’s. I can’t wait!!! 😀
Trying to get through now…all I’m getting is a beep that sounds like a very fast busy signal. A few tries ago, I got the message, “The number you are calling has been disconnected.” YIKES!
Oh…it is 7:25 a.m. here on the East Coast! LOL!
Been calling since 7am. Cannot get through
I started calling at 6:58 this morning. Tried on 2 cell phones and a house phone for 45 straight minutes. With over 200 attempts, I finally stopped when my carpal tunnel started acting up. House phone has no redial and cell phones get poor reception…but I was a trooper. Guess I’m not meant to eat at Be Our Guest this trip! 🙁
8AM. No luck
I’ve been getting a busy signal for almost an hour!!! How frustrating 🙁
Received Message “all circuits are busy now. Please try your call again later”
I don’t think so
is anyone getting threw for reservations? trying since 7 am…..wow this is amazing…how Disney is loved by soooo many. going in Dec. and hoping to get in.. good luck to all. i will keep trying
Busy signals for over an hour & a half! Is anyone actually getting through????
Hang in there…I finally got through after a 70 minute wait! The automated system apparently won’t work so you will have to speak to a CM to book.
not me. whomp.
I have not been able to get through. You would’ve thought Disney would have a handle on this. They had to know tons of people would be calling
8:45am (EST), still a very fast busy signal. Has anyone besides @Emily got through?
i have been trying since 7 am… it is 8;52 still busy signal… anyone making it yet besides emily
Does anyone know what time on the 22nd the website will begin taking reservations?
Just got through after 2 hours of nonstop calling. Didn’t manage to get anything for Monday 11/19, but got Tuesday 11/20 at 4:20pm, which is fine by me with two little kids! The automated system did not ask for a credit card, FYI.
Dvc members can call our line & get through right away! But I’ll probably be on hold forever…..I’ll let you know…..
nope. the DVC number rings busy as well
Success!!!!
I keep getting the “wrong number” beep and a voice that says that all circuits are busy and I should try again later. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get through! It’s supposed to be for my birthday dinner when we go in December and I can’t wait!
My husband and I have been trying since 7 AM ET and have had no luck whatsoever – mainly just a busy signal. I have no idea how many times I’ve called them anymore. A bit frustrating.
But we’re still trying, so my fingers are crossed.
Finally got through to a cast member after 1.5 hrs on hold. Was able to get a reservation for my trip in February but not for my earlier trip in December. The automated system was working at first and when I called right at 7 am there was a time available in December, but the voice recognition couldn’t get my name and shunted me to the hold line where I then waited for 1.5 hrs. By the time I got a person that reservation was gone. So frustrating!
I’m in….called membership line……got my reservations on Dec 3rd….good luck everyone….:)
Got a reservation after over an hour of dialing and an hour on hold! I got through via the main Disney information line.
