Rock on! Now THIS is the kind of snack I can get behind!
Thanks to Amanda Ficili for letting us post this superstar photo from Disneyland’s New Orleans Bayou Bash! The red velvet cupcake is topped with green and purple whipped cream cheese frosting, and the whole thing is accented by “a white chocolate ornament dusted with gold glitter, a hand painted chocolate curl, and a Venetian cookie mask!” says Amanda!
She also told us that the center is filled with cream cheese frosting! I’ve died and gone to heaven! 😉
Catch Disneyland’s New Orleans Bayou Bash this weekend and the next few weekends as well — February 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, and March 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 — in New Orleans Square!
In addition to gorgeous cupcakes, you’ll find other specialty food items like Bacon Cheddar Popcorn, pan-seared snapper topped with tomato Scotch Bonnet sauce and mango pineapple relish at Cafe Orleans, Mardi Gras Southern Corn Chowder at Harbour Galley, fresh fried Apple Fritters a la mode at Blue Bayou, and more (see the list of treats at the Disney Parks Blog!)
Have you been to the Bash?? Let us hear your reviews!
“I’ve died and gone to heaven!” – I’m right there with you, my friend. I think I need to plan a trip to Disneyland for the Bayou Bash.
I just had one of these last week! The mask is white chocolate, and it was filled with a berry preserve rather than cream cheese! I have a picture of the other side if you’d like to post as well! 🙂
I can’t wait to try this cupcake in a couple weeks. So cool that Disneyland is doing this Bayou Bash!
JoAnn — Ha ha! Me, too!!
Jessica — Ooh! Exciting!! Would love to post the photo!
Tom — Can’t wait to hear your review!
