Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some new treats in store for those traveling to Walt Disney World in the next few weeks, according to Studios Central!
New Pot Roast Sandwich
A Pot Roast Sandwich is debuting at Studio Catering Company this week! It looks pretty good, but I can’t wait to hear some reviews from you guys!
New Food Kiosks and Menu Items Added
Just like last year, an Italian food kiosk is being added to the area near Muppet Vision 3D.
This temporary dining spot is being added due to the crowds expected this holiday season, and will serve Italian favorites like Penne Pasta with Tomato Sauce for $7, Penne Pasta with Tomato Sauce and Meatballs for $9, and Minestrone Soup for $3.50 (also a Disney Dining Plan snack credit).
A second kiosk called “Happy Holidays” and located on Echo Lake is serving the pot roast sandwich you see above as well as clam chowder, and chili.
You’ll also find a holiday cupcake at Starring Rolls and a few other dining locations. This is a gingerbread cupcake with cream cheese frosting. 🙂
Thanks again to Studios Central for these updates! There’s lots more info and photos about Holiday Updates at Disney’s Hollywood Studios here.
That pot roast sandwich looks fantastic! Are these new items holiday season exclusive?
While all of these items sound delicious they also sound like things that I would end up wearing on my shirt before I done. 🙂 Considering that they are serving from temporary kiosks, I would imagine that there is a lack of many nearby tables and chairs. Something more “eat-and-walk-able” and less “saucy” would be nice.
The pot roast sandwich looks good.
Megan — Since the pot roast sandwich is being offered at Studio CAtering Co, I’m hoping that it’s NOT seasonal! The rest probably are.
Pudge — Ha! I know! That would definitely be an “extra shirt day.”
JoAnn — Agreed!
The pot roast sandwich tastes quite good. Henry Work and I both tried it and found it quite tasty!
Unfortunately, the Cast Member I spoke with indicated the sandwich was only going to be on the menu through New Years. Hope they change their mind and keep it on the menu!
This is the sort of sandwich that really intrigues me. The photo seems to show some french fries and potato chips? on the sandwich along with cheese and of course the beef. This sandwich reminds me of the famous Primanti brothers sandwiches which are the signature dish in Pittsburgh.
We’ve seen the regional hot dogs at The Lunching Pad and now a copy of the beef sandwiches possibly from Pittsburgh. This trend is great fun!
Alan, it sounds like you’ll need an Iron City beer to wash it all down!
Alan: Sandwich comes with choice of fries or apple slices
Pudge – It’ll take more than one IC
